Presale

The presale for the 30th International Bach Festival in Schaffhausen starts on November 4, 2023. IBG members can enter their ticket orders on the order form starting from October 21, 2023, and can either send them by email to tickets @ bachfest.ch or by mail to the address provided below.

Ticket sales for the 30th International Bachfest Schaffhausen starts on November 04, 2023. Tickets can be purchased at the box office of Stadttheater Schaffhausen and online via this website.

Ordering Online
To book your tickets, pick a concert from the event selection panel on the main page or in our ticket shop. By clicking the link «Tickets» you will be referred to our external booking page, where you can select your seats individually. If you desire to order tickets for several concerts, simply click «Weiter einkaufen» below the seat selection panel and pick additional concerts one after the other and add the selected seats to your shopping basket (see «Warenkorb»). Tickets booked online will not be changed or refunded.

Simply mark your selected events on the ticket menu on the back of our printed programme and send us your order by post, fax or E-Mail to:

All mail orders will be confirmed. The tickets will be delieverd with an invoice.

• Members of the International Bach Society Schaffhausen receive a reduction of CHF 5.– for every concert (couples: 2 tickets / CHF 10.–).
• Customers of Schaffhauser Kantonalbank receive a reduction of CHF 5.– for every concert upon presentation of their personal Maestro-card or Maestro-STUcard. (max. 2 reduced tickets per person and Maestro-card per concert).
• Owners of the KulturLegi Schaffhausen receive a reduction of 50% on all available seats.
• Students and apprentices receive a reduction of 50% on all available seats. A valid ID is to be presented upon ordering tickets.

All prices are declared in Swiss Francs (CHF) and include 7,7% VAT.
Tickets cannot be refunded after purchase unless an event is cancelled, abandoned, rescheduled or where there is a material change to the event. A material change is a change which, in the festival management's reasonable opinion, would make the event materially different to the event that the purchasers of the ticket could reasonably expect. A cast change, programme change or an alteration to the running time does not constitute a material change. 
No additional charges apply for sales of tickets and vouchers at our sales points and for online payments with Mastercard and Visa. For Ticket deliveries, a surcharge of CHF 5.– per mailing applies.
All privileges and price reductions are non-transferable and non-cumulative and apply exclusively to concerts, not to additional events and transfers.
